I am honored to serve as the Academic Dean at Tejeda Middle School and to be part of such an incredible campus community. I hold a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) and bring over 15 years of experience in education. In my role, I support both teachers and students through the PLC process, as well as serve as our campus MTSS Academic Coordinator and Emergent Bilingual point of contact to ensure all students are set up for success.

Hello, my name is Michael Gonzalez, and I am excited serving as Assistant Principal at Tejeda. This fall I will be starting my 19th year working in education with NEISD. I am a graduate of UTSA and Our Lady of the Lake University. I am also a proud graduate of L.E.E. High School and reside in the district so my son will have the opportunity to attend our district’s excellent schools.

Howdy! My name is Rachel Dees, and I am excited to begin my administrative journey at Tejeda as an Assistant Principal. This will be my 10th year working for NEISD, for the last nine years I taught 6th grade ELAR, and was an ELAR Department Chair. I’m a graduate of UTSA and Texas A&M University (WHOOP!) I’m also a product of NEISD! I attended Stone Oak Elementary, Bush Middle School, and graduated from Reagan High School. My incredible experience as an NEISD student is what drove me to become an educator, and I hope to facilitate an environment of excellence for your child to thrive as well.
